Place For Engine Overhaul?

Heya.
Where's a good place, or recommended, to get my cars engine checked over. 1990 Corolla Fxgt.

To be straight, i just wanna make sure the engine is in good, not that it isnt, working order, and is performing at its very best.
Also, to get the electrics working, the Aircon only works on Auto and High, and not in between. There have been no modifications to the car. Completely stock Corolla

I am located in Wellington so a place around town is good, and maybe in Lower Hutt, but thats about as far as i would go.

in my mind, i was thinking along the lines of maclennan performance, etc...

Cams a good c**t. knows engines inside aint out. he isnt your ordinary VTS guy ;)

You had probably left by then as i finish at 5.30pm and it was around 5.15pm.

It wasnt blown, but was running on avgas (could smell it from my work).
and was blocking traffic.
drove past and was parked and idling in the toyota workshop

i'd left by then, but I'd say if anything it belongs to a friend of a staff member at Toyota coz off the top my head none of them have a drag car. There are several techs with stockcars tho.
