Hmmm - noo sound - [Avalon]

Postby MrOizo » Fri Nov 17, 2006 4:38 pm

My old man came home today and asked me to have a look at the head unit.

everything is operational apart from sound from the speakers.

Is there some sort of a reset that can be done or a fuse for some sort of an amp that might have been blown?

Anyone know what would be up here?

thanks in advance

cheers,

its blowen the internal amp, probable a transistor or something. An electronics shop can fix it if the units worth the dollars, normally cheaper to buy another.

check that one of the speakers havent shorted out - this is one of the main culprits for this happening

wires can get squished anywhere along the way, not normally too much of a problem on stock setups tho
