Ok my aircon is shithouse, doesnt blow as cold as it should (read its almost warm air on cold), i also had a little play with the aircon fill valve, doesnt seem to be any gas in there.
My Q is who does it in dunedin & rough price.

Automec or Mcalpine Hussman or how ever its spelt. AT LEAST $500. Being an AE101 it will most likley be on the R12 gas and need to be converted to R13a.

To swap it over from R12 to R134a. I have priced it up more than once.

We have done a few at work and can't see how it can get to anywhere near $500, even with changing it over.

Regas's are around $130 to $200
and to chnage over would be another $100 or so.???

Next time you go there Alex you should take a big stick or a rotwiler, im sure they'd lower the price then.

Am i mistaken in thinking that cars are regassed with non CFC gas when they come into the country?
