Its from a GT4? Cos i know with my old ST162 GTR that it bolted to the spare wheel well - where the fuel tank is in my ST185.

the GT4 will be fine for towing, ive used my legacy wagon to tow another GT legacy wagon from north shore to whakatane, used a shit load of gas and i was in the 2-0 in vac area cruising and on boost the rest of the time. the engine ran about 2 deg hotter for the whole trip and didnt show a sign of having a problem. I know a guy with an evo3 with a few mods that tows his evo3 track car around, its just fine. altho is funny when u hear the external at full roar and see a car getting towed slowly down the road

GT towing 095768003 - Company who made the MKIV tow bar - detachable around 800 bucks... give em a call if you want
