air con/heater question

hey my mates gota r33 skyline i know it's not a toyota,but when you start it the air con/heater seems to click what sounds likes relays on and off for a bout 10 seconds,then it stops,the aircon and heater works fine tho...any idea what thats about?

is the clicking coming from the cabin or engine bay?

quite common for the mode flap motors to strip the teeth at the end of the travel, and you get a clicking as the motor tries to move the flap past the end of it's travel.
