My turn for Assistant Clerk of Course for this event, so I get to drive the pacecar :) (and no, it won't be the Sentra)

Also regarding the logbook thing - definetly worth doing if you want to compete regularly. Its only something like $36 to get it, you don't need any WOF type of inspection to gain one, and it means you only have to wait in line for Scrutineering once every 3 events at ClubSport level (excluding Scrutineering compulsary events like most hillclimbs and the Ashburton Street Sprints) - huge time saver for yourself and the organisers. (You get to spend that time preparing your car or just chatting with other racers)

And I can do you favors
But then you'll do whatever I like

unfortunatley, it dosn't appear the Levin will be coming to play.

3 major cracks in a fairly custom manifold, bloody happy it wasn't the head, though.

if i can find all the bits to run the other inlet system, i could possibly be there?

still havn't got car running. will finish modifying the replacement manifold tonight, and hopefully fit it tomorow.
it would appear that my car could be drafted into use on Saturday (if going) as my neighbours car isn't going to be finished on time.

Awesome day, quite a few non-finishers due to mechanical issues (and no one due to accident damage) but still some good long racing by most, we ran 4 circuits (twice at each) and it ran very smoothly.

I ended up awaking the Sentra from its Christmas period hibernation and using it as Pacecar, and I half regret not being arsed swapping the road tyres for its Race tyres as it slid every corner with all the understeer with the shitty Enduros I threw on the spare rims to get a WOF.. for those who don't know, if you are driving the Pacecar at a Speed Event and spin, you have to buy all the day's officials a beer...

But it ended up being a laugh, especially trying to keep the pace up for the 4WD Turbo guys, don't think I've ever mustered as much tyre squeal out of the girl as I have today... :D

Impressive turnout of the day was a guy who had spent the last 2 and a half years building up an oldish BMW.. so all that time later and a 6 figure build project.. he rocked up late and after saying he had never driven it (apart from 300 metres around his culdersac) it was his first time in the car - and pulled some really good times (beating quite a few times posted by an Evo and passing a certain Altezza (non-boost due to mechincals)..

Good Event anyway. :) Looking forward to sorting out some BS problems in my car and competiting again late January 8)

Yip a good day, only got 2 and a half runs in before car ran like arse, but very happy with how the car went until then, had a ball.

Cheers to the organisers and marshalls again, very smooth :D

car went well on Saturday( 10th overall!!), was ready and waiting on trailer, but someone slept in and woke up at 10am after an exhausting day at Levels, keeping the boyracers in check :( .
