i think evo 3 or evo4 injectors are 440cc...bit bigger than the ze injectors, not sure how easily they fit in though. someone on here will be able to give you more info...

std 365's with the extra 750cc injector, they've been cleaned and flow tested and they flow a little more than std though. i'll be going to 550's and running about 25psi when i get the new computer though.

4 x 550 is only 400HP worth of fuel MAXED out, 320hp at 80%. 25psi would be over that????? you need either bigger injectors or more injectors

there's a guy in aussie who made 283kw atw on his 4agte with 30psi on 550cc injectors, no nitrous or water injection etc.

would type of engine etc be a factor? or what would you recommend

either he's running insane fuel pressure, is at 100% duty Cycle, or he's VERY lucky, or a combo of all three.

My car was running 410cc in it originally.

I upgraded it to 600cc's and the cr still makes within 20 to 25 hp of the original, but the 600cc run up to 90% at times?

Must have been really lean back then at times......

because a 4age/GZE./GTE etc runs to higher rpm than a 3SGTE or similar 2 litre, they require larger injectors to make the same HP

rule of thumb is 550ccm of fuel per 100HP maxed out 650-680ccm of fuel per 100HP with room for safety.

well 25psi on one turbo to the next is like comparing apples to oranges.

However I know the turbo he IH8TEC is using, and probably will be running dead on 400hp atfw at 25psi.

I think your rough rule of thumb is a little bit low/safe/pedantic, and 400hp should be around 85% duty cycle on 550's, (refer: http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/minj.htm calculator).

all depends tho, as 4ages run 2.5bar stock, and alot of people tend to run around 2 bar on fuel pressure regulators.

Then I always go for the practical examples, theory is typically just that, and ive seen 280kw on 4ages last forever, which is why my 4age runs 510's at 20psi, and should be good for 25psi.

Then you have the oil cooled forged pistons in our blocks, which allow afr's to be typically leaner, as less fuel is disapated by heat, meaning you can calulated using a [edit: lower] BSFC, even as low as .45, meaning a 10% higher hp per unit than a non oil cooled and/or forged block.

So many variables, so I dont beleive in rough rules of thumb.

That was fun... off to bed
