Its easy to blame the poltical parties, but some responsibility lies with the voters. Most people who vote for who they do do so because thats what their parents voted for, or their mates. We each get two votes, yet most of us throw them away using the whole 'i'm just one person' rationale. If NZ is so sick of Labour and National why not shut them out and let 2-3 minor parties run things? Elected dictatorship is the definition of democracy.

He certainly made a difference, good builder for the National Party but I personally though his age and slight lack of experience let him down so he just couldn't quite cut the position for Prime Minister in a lot of peoples views...

I do however believe Mr Key will continue and build on the solid foundation Brash left and will have many valid points to help correct NZ in to a more appropriate Direction rather than these horrible odd ball routes Labour has gone for.

Heres to a proper government that will clean up the mess the Labour party and the swines running it will leave after in the next Election - I'm sure their times in the hot seat is well over.

hopefully they can pull it together.

Yeah, but look how close the last one was Rev, I voted National because they support sensible sentancing which is one of my biggest problems with the pussy labour mongrels that are in charge

And WTF is up with government giving so much money for a fricken stadium??? How bout tackle the more important shite first?

Ill be voting national next time round and crossing my fingers

Funny really; I agree with a lot of the positions that National take but up until now have pretty much voted Labour/Green.

The problem I have is that no one party to me gets it entirely right.

Labour and National I both agree with and disagree with regularly.
The Greens have a lot of ideas I like but a lot of extremist positions I don't like.

Theres a few issues where i've agreed with National - Don Brash, for all his gaffs, had some smart points of view. He just sucked at putting it across accurately and without cocking it up.

Next election, god knows who i'll vote for. I think i must be one of those swing voters who changes each voting cycle, based on voting cycle, but we'll see I guess. (I think my attitude is changing as I get older, too.)

Yeah BlakJak, I never used to vote but I have now that Im older and things like taxes, childcare, rates, policing & punishment issues are actully affecting me, guess when your a bit younger it doesnt make much difference, its a shame that there is a fight to rule and that they cant come together and actually do whats best for us minions
