about spring and shocks (low down)

just got new kyb today and try to get shorten and compress the factory spring,then put them on the ride .the shocks never been fited on the car so far. before shorten the shocks, i dont know if the car will be higher (with kyb) than before ( standard) or not.
someone must be got experience than what i know. any ideas will be appricated. cheers.

if the shocks are just replacements for your factory ones they should be exactly the same size, no height difference will exist.

so if you get your springs compressed depending on how much they are compressed, you may need to get the shocks shortened to suit.

when the springs have been compressed, you will be able to fit them in the shock and find out if they are captive or not....

by the way, do u know any cheap places arround the town to get the spring compressed and shocks shorten .cos i m on the budget at the moment.

a lot off ppl say go to snells but a mate of my dads who has worked with springs his whole life and says that archers in takapuna is better
