4age choke

hey

can i adjust my 4age choke idle? how do 4age's choke work? i know its got some wax thing that melts when the water around it gets warm and it blocks soem air holes or somthing remotely vaugly along those lines.

my choke idle is abit high like 2grand

the 4age's use an air bypass valve that does exactly that, bypasses the intake air past the throttle body. I had the similar trouble with mine on my '86 but just took a water hose off the pipe to the T/B and put back on seems fine now. There may be a way if you pulled the bottom of it off, but usually factory set and unadjustable. Unless you either locate another one or ignore it.

HEY cheers for that, i'll check those water lines.

ive got spare motor so and i pulled the valve thing off just to take a look at it so i could put that on. easy to get a new gasket coz its stuffed?
