Tyres 2 Go has them for about $120 a tyre.
Don't get him to fit them, hes quite rough and has damaged many a wheel. A blind, no-armed chimp would do a better job.
Try and get another $20 or so discount for a cash and carry deal. Then just pop round to Marmites Moorhouse Ave, ask for Don, he'll fit and balance them for $5 a corner.

Oh real?
Didn't hear about that.
I wouldn't go there anywhere just because they're dicks.
I went there questioning their back-up of wheels, specifically referring to drift-teks which are as soft as butter.
I was told that their wheels are sold as 'show car' wheels only, and that if the wheel even bent on the street that they offer no warranty, as the owners suspenion/driving would obviously be the cause.

I have always found tyre city not to bad
Yeah, poor thing, all that drama!!
We use Quality Tyres at work, they take all our non compliant (on entry to country) tyres, so you can pick em up for around $70-$80 a pair

Oh thats right becky I remember that now! Ive been totally nervouse of rattel guns since you informed us of this!!
B ROWDY - can you pick up 17's for that price, or can anyone pick them up for that price??? I just want my pretty wheels on my car
personally i always go to tonys tyres, best service around. Marmite used to be my neighbour so nothing against him tho!!
but dont get shit tyres seriously its worthwhile paying a bit more (sometimes more
) to get decent tyres. I've had cheapies and would NEVER go back, you get what you pay for, so unless you dont plan to drive in the rain or brake hard.... get something decent. dunlop dirrezas or eagle F1s will never give you problems

You could get tyres from affordable tyres aswell, they usually have good range of second hand stuff and fitting / balancing you could try Tony's tyre sevice or where you get tyres from, depending of course what place supply you with tyres

Stupid dam eroupean car!! Be less difficult!
Peugeot, Audi, or UK Ford?
The alfa is in the shed and now its a peugeot 306.
And as for the rest of this conversation im feeling rather confused.
All I got was: Spend lots on tyres
Go to tony's tryes or somewere elsse and get them on at marmites
and something about trye width.
But can anyone tell me about the space saver?

Just try a wreckers for a suitable space saver (I take it you're looking for one?) I'm not sure of any Euro specific wreckers in Chc aside from Eurorec, but afaik they specialise in BMW's... couldn't hurt to give them a yell though.

Good idea about the wreckers for a spare tyre
Anyone can get them that cheap at Quality, its up to you what feet you put on your ride, so no one should give you grief, I was just putting it out there that this place was cheap and they are very friendly and helpful

just wondering, but do you think the reduced width would help with traction? what brand are RE-01Rs?
No its not the reduced width, with average 205's I can spin them up in 4th gear
RE-01R's are Bridgestone's Street semi-slick
I have some new 9.5" wheels coming soon for the back, Ideally I would like to run a 255 sized RE-01R, but they're fark'n expensive. I just fluked getting my 205 RE-01R's, they were on some stock S14 wheels I bought for skidding on. Didn't realise what they were till a mate pointed them out.
