Could we have a bit more information regarding how much track time you will get and how the day will be set up, eg: 3-4 sessions etc

I'd be keen as long as it doesn't clash with anything else.

Anyone wanting to enter read the post on "my first speed event" to get the regs for mounting fire extinguishers. The scrutineers at ruapuna get a little tired of telling people over and over how you're supposed to mount them

With our track day in august we had 4 groups of 10 with 5 laps per run.

I think everyone ended up doing 6 or 7 runs... Roughly 30-35 laps each.

That however is a rough estimate which does not mean thats how this track day will turn out. Hopefully that gives you some idea?

Depending on the weather we will probably run more sessions the last time. Last time was a learning curve and hit a few speed bumps which I will avoid this time, at then end of it though it will be a great fun day. I can guarentee your brakes will be screaming to be put out of their misery by the end of the day.

yeah that one wasn't the best, it passed the scrutineer though. Good point I'll put up the one that I have currently installed though, its much better and is a metal bracket one.

Really?

And are these 'free days'?

I want to go out and tune my suspension, not really do anything specifically.

Also, which track layout will we be using?

Yeah I like to go on those, Im a member of the CCC club also.

Unfortunately prices have gone up since last time for track hireage, but it will be a fun day I can guarentee that. Ill be paying and entering even though I can goto the pursuit days for $40.

Track layout will be this one of the 3 options offered
