Does anyone know about 3.8 V6 Holden commodores?

Postby ollieboy » Sun Dec 24, 2006 5:17 pm

My friend has one and her check engine light came on but its on even when engine is off and the light doesn't turn off at all. Is this a known problem or will I have to check for error codes, is it even possible to check for error codes on Holdens without special equipment?

Also, where the accelerator cable connects theres another cable coming off that that is broken, it heads down behind gearbox, any ideas?

Sorry its not a Toyota but Toyota people know more shiz than any other people.

That makes sense, I think you are right, that explains a few other things with the car.

Yep. Then you'd know what the problem is - conveniently circled from the factory.
