Any way to fit better wheels on the front of my KE70?

Postby chch34 » Thu Dec 28, 2006 10:06 pm

Usual thing, rims and tyres hitting the struts. I have a KE70 race car and want more options. Ive just bought some nice 16" rims and they dont fit on the front. bugger. what are the options, if any?

are they adjustable coil-over?
if they are not, it would be an easy fix that has a gain.

What are custom wheels worth?

Go see elite wheels, I think you'll be quite suprised at the cost to have some made.

Also ask matt dunn what his wheel specs and suspension setup is.

not that flash actually.

Suspension is not too bad,
but wheels are a problem.

The hilux diff is a bit wider at the rear so the wheels I run are like a FWD offset, and the front lower arms are lenthened to help and also bring the fronts out.

The wheels are too narrow and too small,
so are looking at buying a new set of probably 17's later in the year for next season,
and using the 15x6.5's as wet weather tyres.

Also looking at possibly converting to 5 stud hubs so there are even more options. (Maybe even fit the focus 17x9.5's on there, lol)

( anyone have some 17x7 rims for sale?)
