4efte powered corolla

Does anyone know how hard it would be to transplant a 4efte and gbox into a corolla currently powered by a 4efe (with a 4 speed)? Just thinking of it as a laugh, so please, no flames for silly ideas

same with cynos and 4efe / 5efhe / 5efe, loom may require modifying (however apparently 5efhe / 4efte looms are the same, bar one plug). so who knows.

use ur base 4efe and bolt all the 4efte bits on. turbo, computer... high comp 4efte... and if you blow it chuck the 4efte block in

yup, but dont waste your time with the 4efte turbo setup.
get a td04 or similar, custom manifold, link, intercooler, bigger injectors, fuel pump. biff it all on the 4efe. good tune at about 12psi, it'l go fo ages. and make more power than a 4efte.

Thanks for the info, I think my mate wants to use it as a granny car for now, but im still trying to convince him a 4efte is the way to go 
Is the starlet gt gearbox LSD? or is it luck of the draw much like the ae92 gtzs?
Because of money constraints for the time being I'm pretty sure the engine going in won't be a link(ed)/td04, most probably it will be standard.
Whats the GT ecu like in regards to boost limits/fuel cuts? and the injectors suppying enough juice to run the higher boost if the ecu can handle it?

Yep that was me:)
Sold that and now just have my liftback. My wagon had a 4afe though, not a 4efe. All the gearbox mounts were the same, just the one by the cambelt had to be modified.
