For a microtech you'd have to go with a LT10 as they no longer make lt8's & you'd need a X4 ignitor as they moved the ignitors out of the ecu to help keep the heat down & to run biger heatsinks on the injector drives & fit more stuff in.
I sell both Link & Microtech & too be honest I'd go with a Link LEM G3, it wins in so many ways, it's cheaper, more people know what they are doing with installation & tuning, it has more features, it has better software & the support if you have any hassles is generally a lot quicker than microtech as you only have to send stuff back to Christchurch not back to Newcastle or Sydney in Australia.
Power wise you'd so next to no difference, driveability wise I'd say the Link especially know with the g3 platform would win. The other good thing with the g3 is all the configuration is onboard by software, no sub-boards or sending the ecu back to change the sensor configuration to suit another make/model of car.
A Link LEM g3 is $1200+gst retail for a wire-in, a Microtech is $1295+gst for an LT10 ECU & you'd need a X4 ignitor box which is $150+gst, note those are retail prices.
