$5 on you have damaged the clutch plate. I lost bits of clutch in my old mr2 about a year ago. Had been doing a few skids, then it just broke while driving home from work about 3 days later. Would only go into gear with engine off. Could start car in gear and then roughly change gears.

If the slave cylinder on the gearbox moves (its a little lever with a black cover on the passenger side) when your foot is depressed on the clutch the box will have to come off to take a look.

I would have thought it'd mean dont try do static burnouts in a MR car, but oh well.

learn how to do skids properly, Al will show you :lol:

was on a private road etc, but good skid it was!! (also mr2, but a rather nasty can opening machine it was haha)

or just dont do dumb shit like skids and you wont have problems like this :lol:

only my2c tho, so many people love skids, so whatever floats your boat / clutch :wink:

lol bridget ya should see your clutch....well what little is left of it, its right down to the bear plate and rivets, had a nice wee birds nest in ya bellhousing, shes all out and itll be going back in tomorrow,

and every one knows if ya wana do a burnout....just get a rota :wink:

Yeah I won't be doing any more skids I can tell you that! Though I can't help it if it loses traction occasionally :wink:
