5sgte hybrid ?

hey is it possible to take a 5sgte crank and rods and use them with a 3sgte pistons and block etc we have just finished making a 5efte for my dads starlet and was wondering if the same sort of principals would apply would they take boost etc(to a certain extent) any info appreciated

thats what im trying to find out can it be done ? its and s series block was wondering if the only difference between the two would be the stroke makeing the 5s a 2.2 as apposed to the 3s being the 2.0 and if it would be just like doing the 5efte hybrid

I think he's trying to use the 5S-FE block mated to 3S-GTE head, which has been done to death in the US, and it works quite well. Check MR2OC.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Well it's 2.2L, it's rumoured to have a strong forged crank, and also rumoured to have a stronger block casing (doesn't crack like Gen 3).

recipe for some mega power.
