I don't know the full specs of the Tom's 3SGE but I have heard it mentioned on a couple of places.

Yep I've definitely seen pics etc of the TOMS 4age stroker engine, cant remember where. I'm sure that it was 1900cc though from memory? or 1700? It seemed some oddball displacement, I'm sure it wasnt the same as the 7AFE.

But anyway, I dont know why you'd go to the expense of a toms stroker kit...

Given that so many people have made 2.2l 3SGEs using 5SFE bits, and 1.8 litre 4AGEs using 7AGE bits, with a fair amount of success...

The TOM'S 2.2 3SGE is a Gen 3 bored & stroked to 2253cc. Forged pistons, F3 camshafts, F3 headgasket, TOM'S TEC11 ECU & light flywheel.
172kW & 255Nm

Their 1.8 blacktop runs a 7A shortblock and their own Grp A pistons, 264 degree cams, TEC11 ECU and a special flywheel.
They claim 147kW & 196Nm.

Both engines are built to order. Ex factory is in excess of 15k each.
I could probably do a group buy if anyone's keen

the photos don't do it justice.
it's even rougher in the flesh!!
it's so far removed from a factory TE71, that it isn't really one anymore
i do draw praise from the local permit issuing steward regarding my painting technique though, a mouthful of paint then sneeze!
