Parking for big day out

Postby deaf_rattle » Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:47 am

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

The Big Day Out music festival – taking place at Mt Smart Stadium, Penrose – is fast approaching this Friday, January 19.

For the bargain price of $10 one of Watercare’s Trailwalker Challenge teams, Team Orange, is making things easy for music fans by providing all-day parking at Watercare’s Church Street site.

The Orange team is made up of Maddy Swatman, Sharon Danks, Rodney Micallef and Sven Harlos, and just in case you thought they were pocketing the loot, this forms part of their Oxfam fundraising.

The Church Street site will be open from 10am Friday morning until 1am on Saturday morning. Soft-drinks will also be on sale.

With over 200 parks to fill there is lots of space available, so be sure to spread the word to your family and friends going along.

For more information, contact Sven Harlos at sharlos@water.co.nz or Maddy Swatman at mswatman@water.co.nz

cheers guys

Pretty much :)

I didnt see it till now. I'm taking public transport purely because i have no idea what the area's like for parking etc, if i could guarantee (sp?) a park then it'd be that much easier wouldn't it? But it's no problem if i can't...
