Well, not sure where to post this...
The boys will be heading down for D1NZ R1 at Timaru this week,.. practice Thrusday, friday, top 16 Sat, and top 8 on Sunday... The same weekend they have other racing...

IS there anything to do down there at night??? Can't remember if been to Timaru before... I'll be down there helping Will Cook out as he will be drifting his DX. So we will be in Timaru for few days...

had a work course down there its pretty dead at night, I think saturday we had a good night down the pubs. There was alot of random hondas and shit doing the laps most nights (like tuesdays), how sad

don't go into town much , too old and not gangsta enough :lol:

plenty of late night doof-doof bars if that's your scene :cry:

barely half a feild for a top-32 drift comp..........what a joke. have been busy winding up the southern lads to get them out there, especially now that Invercargill has been axed.

Glad to see someone else from TS going to be there.
I'll be there racing too in Sports Saloons Class.

Haven't really been out in town for ages, but if your going to go, dont bother going early as nothing happens till 11 or midnight.

Other than that there is bugger all.

Yeh... the last number I got is 16 cars... and not even confirm!... Well, a few peoples decide to go now from North Island... Nick Teboon with the white 7age AE86 will be there too! and there is 2 TS members going to help him out :roll:

We try to get the Toyotas to beat some Nissans... :twisted:

I can't afford to bring my car so I tag along to help out a fellow Toyota drifter...

So yeh, might see some of u guys down there or at the track... come and say hi if u do come!

We catching Wednesday morning ferry, attend practice on Thursday, friday will be practice and qualify day. So staying Wed,Thurs,Fri,Sat &Sun. Then will travel abit on Mon-maybe fri... not sure where to go yet... any suggestion?... Plan is Queenstown.. etc

shouldn't be any issues with top-16 qualifying, unless there is a massive surge in entries.
plenty of places to go and do stuff, depends on what activites you are looking to do.

seems quite ironic. potentially, there could be more Toyspeed guys on track for a national race meet, than Matt or myself could rustle up to a trackday!!

You for real!?? If so, I'll have a big mission tomorrow!! easy for rear suspension... Will try to get something for the front.... Have it got MANZ cage etc? Hope there is spare room in the tow car!.. as Will bring down around 20 brand new tyres! Don't you worry.... I love TE71.... and I promise I'll rape it like I did on mine...

Have it still got std brake at front?

std front with better pads, P/S steering arms, TT132 LCA's.

emm not too sure about the hire fee... shouldnt cost too much.. i hope... as the comp itself is $200.. that's fri,sat and sun.... not that many runs.. Thursday practice might be not included.
Car sounds good... Does it have steering box or rack? If plan goes smoothly, as a return, you get to keep those d1nz stickers on ur car
