Postby gordon77 » Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:55 am

hey ppl i managed to snap my handbreak cable doing a hill start last night - could be due to new break pads in the rear and not ajusting for the new ones - pulled a bit too hard etc... lol 8) but anyways im looking for a handbreak cable to i can stop my car moving when i leave it lol. it has broken right at the handel so just need the bit btw that and the split.

im in auckland area and willing to drive out of akl to pick it up (but not too far) :) if you have one can you please call/text 0211 568 741 :)

Get a new one, handbrake cable snapping is not uncommon in SW20, I don't understand why people trying to save that $50 or so for the short run and just to have to replace it again 6 months down the track.

And if you need to use the handbrake to do a hill start, then you need your boyracer licence revoked.
