16" tyres still are a little more expensive than the others, i think it may have to do with them being a little uncommon?, im not sure. You can still pick up good deals tho.

For the record, i paid $189 per tyre for 205/50/16 Direzza's. Retail was about $250!

I know when I had 16's on my last car, that both 15's and 17" tyres were cheaper by far than 16's.

Go and price the same tyre from the same place in 15 16 and 17" and see what you find.

Things might have changed since then.

I was under the impression that 16 inch wheels are not as common.
My brother got some new wheels for car and the price for 17 inch was lower.
I guess this would affect tyre price also

raping the old engine with up to 19psi at the drags, launching i always had full traction in 2nd gear, where as the tyres it used to have on it used to slip when it came on boost (13psi) in the first couple of gears.
get the best you can possibly afford and make friends in the industry.. Mates rates go along way :D

Jesus, I paid about $640 for my four- I think. Hmmm, where did put those receipts?

Oh, BTW Boosted- measured my repaired Enkei rim- 9" between outer edges, 8" between inner edges.
