EE90 rally car... 950kg dry.
I'm happy with that since the standard EE90 1300cc is supposed to be 970kg and the FXGT 1070kg and I haven't done anything radical to put the car on a diet, just the normal remove sound deadening, add rollcage etc etc. I could get more weight out by removing brackets, replacing windows etc but it is cheaper (and better
) for me to put myself on a diet instead.
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976
