if you spend teh same moeny as bazz did on his 7agte id think yourd be pushing over 600 hp in a 3sgte

and a stock 3sgte can do 400 hp with teh right turbo and tuning

I've owned my curren for over three years- fell in love with it at first sight. Black, factory lowered on White Enkei mags and above all manual (oh, and 3S-GE). I was one of the first in Hawkes Bay to own one, and the next thing you know they were bloody everywhere. :D

Bar some twat rear-ending it, it has never ever given me any problems of note, servicing and maintenance are pretty good, it accelerates well and I can overtake whenever I need to. Racing Hondas- who cares? That's the driver's perogative and problem, and their loss when the fuzz take their license.

It's better looking than the Celica, and the 'veilside style' kit referred to is the same as the Celica's for both the rear corners and the side skirts, only the Curren's front lip looks better. The only reason it exists is because Celica sales were getting hammered by the Silvia- why do you think Currens and S14 Silvias look alike?

It may not be RWD, or turboed, but that's Toyotas loss- they may make good cars, but they are not necessarily smart. If they made a Curren GT4 I would buy one in a flash.

Interesting, what has he done to it. You may or may not have heard about bazda's car. Thats a 20 valve remeber. Or timid was runnign around a few years ago that was/is also a 20 valve. Oh also don't forget about the audi's some of them are 20 valve although slightly different with 5 cylinders i guess

Yeh, but Infinates curren is running a stock 3s... (despite it being a 3sgte :P ) which was more my point. You can say any engine will be faster than any other if you allow money to be put into it.

Obviously Barrys engine will move his metal faster than Richards, but more to the point, how much has barry spent on his compared to richard.

It would be funny if currens were RWD, every wannabe "drifter" would be getting there hands on them thinking they are a silvia equivalent
