1997 GT-T offset question

Postby TOYO-GT-T » Thu Feb 01, 2007 6:13 pm

Just wondering if a 5x100 16 inch mag wheel would fit a Caldina GT-T.

The offset of the mag is most probalby between 36mm -38mm ( wheels currently on a 1993 Celica) . I am concerned about clearence between the mag and caliper.

I have searched and people have different opinions. I found a link to a website from Fivebobs post which recommends 38mm Offsett.

Cheers

Rover mags fit too and look not bad either. I've got some set up with snow tyres.

Does anyone know or have 17inch mags fitted to their gt-t with a plus 40 offset?

Will these fit?

The offset may be to high.

You might have problems with your struts from what I was told by a wheel shop today.

I checked those Rover mags of mine today they are 6 1/2"x16" ET50 and they fit fine.
