Anyone interested in AE92 & AE100 brake upgrade kits?

I'm in the process of putting big brakes on my AE104 which uses the same front hub carriers as AE92 & AE100 etc. I'm using 280mm discs and S4/5 RX7 4 pot Calipers, these fit inside MOST 15 x 6.5 and 15 x 7 Mags and larger.
An adapter needs to be used to mount the caliper to which then inturn bolts to the hub carrier, I will be getting these parts profile cut. Would there be any interest out there in these Brackets? I can supply the part number or even supply new DBA 280mm discs with the correct dish height for this all to work, and with enough time I could probably even source some calipers and supply them with new brake hoses is you wanted to go that far.

Rmember cats, this will stuff up the bias, and you will need to modify the brake lines..

Just putting the twin pots (+mintex + larger rotors) onto the front of my 101 has screwed up the bias.

My next plan is to remove the factory prop. valve and to insert the willwood one on the rear line(s). hopefully this works better than it did on the mini

i'll be working out the braket shape in the next couple of days. Then getting it profile cut. Then I'll be able to let you's know a price. I'm using Nissan 180SX 2.0 Front discs which are 280mm diamater with a 49mm height, removal of the backing plate off the hub is required. I can supply these discs for $130 ++ brand new for a pair. They need to be drilled to 4 x 100 and I can arrange that on top.

for sure, i'm converting to rear discs & calipers too which i will also possibly be able to offer as a kit, along with a suitable booster and master cylinder etc if required. I'll be running an adjustable bias valve, as you would expect on a competition car.

I was doing a few club events a little while ago, but I've gone to doing solely circuit stuff, and as you know circuit events are few and far between, so I tag onto other club's events. Haven't had my Trueno out since last year when I had a small *incident* with the armco at Pukekohe. Started to just repair it, but decided halfway through to find a few more horsepower in her, and it kinda snowballed from there. ATM the car's sitting in the workshop in Te Puke waiting for me to hoist the new engine in and start connecting things up.

Remember that AE101 are FWD so are likely to have a split diagonal braking system where the rear are not on a separate circuit to thye front like a RWD car.

Split diagonal on FWD has the left rear and right fron on one circuit
and the right rear and left front on the other.

Fitting an aftermrket adjustable bias means re-plumbing the whole system sometimes.
