I have just installed my sard ecu on my silvertop
which now pulls 9k rpm just a bit worried about the oil pump being able to supply enough oil to lube the crank at that rpm

i am also using valvaloine 10w40 oil

is there a uprated oilpump available for these engine?
anyone had any experience here before?

i am thinking of doing an oil cooler to help with this
maybe the 7afe sump also its part alloy right? to help with cooling

But for what its worth, Silvertop oil pump is up to the task I belive, as long as it isnt starved of course

and yes 7AFE is 2 piece alloy

pm ace. he's got alot of experience with that small go fast box thing

Ace tells me, he has had no problem running up to 9k rpm on std oil pump using valvoloine 10-40w

He may have some more input.

Silvertop held up fine to the abuse over 2years

7a sump could help by having abit more oil capacity but the 4age windage tray needs to be moded to fit(dont just ditch it)

Id fully agree to runing a oil cooler will help alot .....
little more oil capacity
Less heat in the oil
Oil wont degrade as quick
