2E Starter Motor

Question for a friend....

Anyone know which starter fits a 2E? (1.3 12 valve in a ae92 3 door)
His has gone and i dont know what to get him...

Go to any pick a part in Auckland and I can basically guarantee you'll find an old 2E powered Corolla sitting around somewhere...

Yeah i was more enquiring as to whether it was known if that starter was fitted to any other engines as well to widen my search area. But thanks buddy

You'll need a hell of allot more security than what you are currently using to do that.

Cant help with what else will fit, but I know an A series starter wont fit. The bolt spacing is different.

the artmutar & outer caseing wit the wire coils in it (for got it real name) & solnoid can all be used of an A series on your front caseing

altho i dont know witch A series i got the reckor had a box of them that i just went thro & fonud 1 the same all from A series motors

also the turbo starlet is the same but i dont know the code i think its 5****

Thats what I did with my EE90/4AG.
And also any 4efe/5efe should fit.
