what to look out for when buying an altezza?

Get an RS200, a good start... Low K's cam belt, get one without the TV/GPS unit in them, there useless for us here in nz, and just make it impossible to work around the cabling behind the stero...

If it has the stacker in the dash, do not put 6 disc's into it... it will break it and you most likely will loose ya discs... umm, the manual is great, but the Auto with tiptronic is not a bad thing in the car...

Get a compression check done...

Other than that, they are pretty fool proof cars, oh and maks sure you get a Z edition :twisted:

My brother has a copper coloured rs200 with 19" wheels, Tein adj. suspension and an exhaust for sale. Around 105-110kms on it with a new clutch. Looks really nice. If you want more info pm me!

Also watch for syncro wear between 2nd,3rd and 4th. sometimes the release bearing can wear so listen out for that. and rarely the camber kit can wear or be broken.

I'm guess you know the diff between the models?

the dual mass flywheels pack a sad and it sounds/feels similar to a half dead diff
