EP Starlet gearbox question

Any idea if all the EP five speed gearboxes are the same diff ratio?

NB: I am talking 4EFE Starlet, not 4EFTE Starlet GT.

I've googled all over the place, and nobody seems to say anything about the non turbo Starlets, but I'm looking at getting a non turbo, but it has a four speed on it at the moment (ew).

Ep71's are the same whether its 4 or 5.
I'd assume 82's are the same.

I was more wondering if the five speed 1000cc Starlets might possibly have a better diff ratio to the 1300cc Starlets. It's a long shot I realise.

Try flicking Stu a PM, he's run just about every box in his car from what I understand, and he's mentioned something before about different ratios...

I've found out that the 4 speed C140's have a 3.4 diff ratio, while the 5 speed should in theory all have a 3.7 ratio. First four gears are the same, it's only the 5th that is different.

Starlet GT's run C52's, and Glanza's run C56's according to reading.

i run ae101 internals in my c52 starlet box. pretty straight forward to do. 4.3:1 final drive
