Supercheap Superworks products are always being recalled, i no longer waste my time at Supercheap, it really does stand up to its name tho.

i think the operative word here is may - as in, it may continue to work past its listed weight, and then fail once you are under the car...

Im sure if my 2 ton shop jack got to 2ton and one gram, it would still work, but if i kept going it may die at anytime, thats my fault, not the jacks as I overloaded it.

just a guess here, but capacity could be lifting hight capacity, ie you can crank the jack up a few inches more than what its rated for, and then that throws out all the other safety tests etc.

Weights are easy to guess, ie a 2 ton jack and a truck isnt going to work. but the hight well you dont get a ruler out and measure how high the jack went and how this compares to the manufactuers specs...

People who try and skimp on gear like that are asking for trouble. Honestly, $20 axle stands, do you not value your life that highly?

they might get recalled after the jacks as people will start to use them, and they will then fail before been pulled

I agree tho, why on earth wouldnt u use at least axel stands, Shit id happily ruin my rims by putting them under to, Id rather a ruined mag than a ruined face..

FYI the only axle stands Supercheap do are Stanford ones which are of good quality. There's the typical pin type for $50 odd and the better screw type for $80ish so they aren't exactly cheap rubbish. I've seen crappier jacks and jackstands at Repco too so I don't know why you are targetting Supercheap.

Yeha when I worked there for a year and bit I think, we had more recalls than I liked.
I was tired of dealing with customers that bought stuff, only to bring it back because it was broken or crap. It really got to me when people would ask me to recommend them car audio stuff too, because personally I wouldn't touch any of that stuff (what the hell is up with Rampage?!?).

lol, i work for supercheap(part time on saterday, to help pay for my race car) most of the stuff that gets returnd hasnt been used correctly. like dumb SH**ts that run their new air compresser with out filling the motor with oil and then complain about it breaking on them. Have only had one recall while I have been working there for the last 9mnths and that was becasue the the product was called "Negro black" spraypaint
