3sgte block

I have a 3sgte block and head. how can i tell what generation it is? its definitly not a gen 3, it has a one peace sump.

do cam covers have "ribs" or are they flat?
How many studs are on the exhaust ports (for exhaust manifold)?
Does it have rectangular oil cooler just under where turbo supposed to be? (if it missing it - does it have 1 or 2 ~17mm holes in the block just under where the turbo is supposed to be)?

if inlet ports are big squarish items then its a 1st gen, if they are oval then its 2nd gen

Both my gen 2's have 11111-88385 stamped above the exhaust ports...
