so i sent my car off for a wheel alignment today
AE85 notchback
report comes back with some pretty out there camber numbers on the front, which has no adjustment. it has AE86 struts in it (i believe - how DO you tell the difference anyway?) and im guessing something is bent... any ideas where to start looking?

positve one side, negative other?
if so, the engine x-member needs to be moved to one side, or you have an un-matched piar of LCA's or bent struts

numbers were -
Left: -2*42'
Right: 0*18'
to be honest i dont even know what it means, but the left wheel leans in at the top quite noticeably, and the right leans out (apparently, it looks straight up and down to me - but then im not a wheel alignment computer)

ouch.... the left's what I run standard on the race car, the right is what the passenger's side was at after I hit the armco at Puke....
give the crossmember a shunt, see if you make the numbers meet in the middle

alright, i'll give it a whirl, should have some hoist time after work tomorrow. fingers crossed it straightens it out a bit, sounds a lot cheaper than the other alternatives.
edit - can anyone tell me the difference between AE85 struts and AE86? im looking at forking out for some AE86 calipers etc, i dont want to discover they wont bolt onto the car...

The struts are the same, its the backing plate/caliper mounting plate, disks, hubs, calipers that are different.
