LEVELS TRACKDAY 24TH MARCH 2007

Postby fangsport » Wed Jan 31, 2007 10:48 pm

don't ask me what type of event we are running as i don't know yet.

will be similar to our usual trackdays and will probably be a mix of autocross and circuit sprints.

giving you all plenty of notice if you want to suggest an activity, as i won't hold my breath if you guys say you are going to enter

if enough people pulled finger and got sorted with a membership and clubsport licence, i could create a really different type of event, but until then, it will more than likely be a basic status event.

I might try come watch, but still don't trust how my car is running enough to actually race it, nor do i have a helmet etc yet.

Don't all those who race start out spectating first? ;)

Yeah, i'm not too keen on wearing anything anyone else has worn though. It is why i never buy second hand clothes etc. Just a personal thing, so yeah. :?

And i'm serious about the car, still has crappy tyres all around (three different types too) and the knocking sound in the engine is getting louder/worse. These aren't excuses, they're reasons.

When i said that i will get on the track eventually i was being serious, am constantly dreaming up how my track car will look/be powered by etc. Only dreaming because it all costs money which i've not a lot of at the moment (being laid off at work along with a few others due to them losing a bit of business, last day is tomorrow). :|

they get drycleaned between events if they get used.

Lloyd, has no-one ever told you that underpower fwd's are a weapon on grass?? like at the sucess minis, swifts, civics etc have had at national level auto-x and motorkhanas.
ollieboy's competition debut was with a 5af sprinter at Levels on the same type of event 2 years ago

As i mentioned, i'm like that for all types of clothing other people have worn. Don't ask me to explain why - it does sound extremely dumb/weird but thats me and people should just leave it at that. :?
