Postby bluemaumau » Sat Mar 03, 2007 7:16 pm

More problems :cry:

According to this:

viewtopic.php?t=35814

with my ecu im getting error code 11.
And a steady high idle @ 2000rpm

11 ECU(+B)
Diagnosis

* Momentary interruption in power supply to ECU.

Trouble Area

* Ignition switch circuit
* Ignition switch
* Main relay circuit
* Main relay
* ECU

So I borrowed a ecu, this new ecu gave me error code 51.
And a rough idle around 700/800rpm.

51 Switch Signal
Diagnosis

* No "IDL" signal, "NSW" signal or "A/C" signal to ECU, during diagnosis check.

Trouble Area

* A/C switch circuit
* A/C switch
* A/C amplifier
* Throttle position sensor circuit
* Throttle position sensor
* ECU

Can anybody give me any idea of what I should be looking for?

Help appreciated

you aren't running with a/c are you, because the ecu will pick up on it not being connected i would think. am guessing that it might have something to do with that screw adjustment that you were asking about, did you get my text on that?
maybe the rough idle due to a vacuum line hooked up incorrectly?
800rpm is a lil better than 2000rpm idle but either way it still hasn't sorted your probs

no a/c, with my othere ecu i took those lines off(the ones that go to that unit with the screw) and it blocked them up, made no difference

:?

800 rpm still isnt good howevre especially when cold

idl is a terminal on the tps. Im assuming for 'idle'
Im sure I posted up how to set tps afew years ago...should be somewhere on forum...

edit, Im unsure of cut off point in codes sorry. but if you have not set/tested tps, its something you should do any way.

They come in handy now and then. Although the newer you go, the less there is to measure with them :( lol
