Left rear wheel locks up first under braking..

Okay so I've had this problem for a long time, but now that track day is only 2 weeks or so away, I figure I should sort it out.

When I brake hard in my MR2, the left rear wheel is the first to lock up! Which seems odd, seeing as how I've taken a crap load of weight out of the front of the car, and on my WOF test, it showed the left right has having a stronger braking force.

I'm running gen 2 SW20 turbo brakes, with the standard gen 1 MC.
I suppose it also pays to note, that I'm using the brake pads that I got with the brakes ages ago, haha! Could it be possible that I've mixed up the pads somehow, to cause this? I'm going to get new brake pads before track day, but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas as to why this may be happening.

I know its obvious but have teh brakes been bleed well? I give them 5-6 full pedal strokes to make sure the lines are clean. The brake fluid is cheap so wasting some isnt a big deal.

MC does the distributing, unlikey to be that, id do the pads, bleed it and if theres still a problem then replace the MC, if youre lucky and know the right people it will be under $100

Edit: didnt read it was left rear locking up first, bleed it if its no good, id definately look at replacing the MC with a new one.

could just be that under hard breaking thats the lightest corner.

it could be your proportioning valve these stuff out alot and if that doesn't fix it try swaping the discs side to side

yeah it does, as the engine is off set to the right.
the r/r was the heaviest in my aw11 (yes aw11, but layout is the same)

its deffinitly worth checking things out, but it could be weight transfer. hard to tell without seeing 1st hand.

how much do you weigh?

maybe under great braking force the car shifts too much weight to the front right, thus taking weight off the left rear.... just a thought don't take offense or anything tho
