ive got this twice now with 2 different ecus.

i just plugged in my new ecu and finnally got the idle down it was running fine. went to take off and the revs pick up and went to 3000rpm steady(maybe rising- i didnt want to find out)

NSW = Supercharger relay, Neutral switch 0r clutch switch

acoording to

http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech ... 4A-GZE.htm

Neutral switch 0r clutch switch is this the clutch on the s/c or something on the throttle body/inlet?

Neutral Switch? You didnt swap over to an automatic ecu or soemthing straight did you? like park inhibitor switch?

Clutch switch is found in many cars on the clutch pedal, same arrangement as a brake light switch, so car only starts when clutch is in. I doubt this is your problem.

Tried taking lid off ecu, looking for "NSW" on printed circuit board, looking at colour of wire tracing to supercharger? supercharger clutch wiring plugged in? continuity through to ecu?

someone bumped tps? tps wiring fine? tps bolts tight? IDL signal seems most likely to me. so then open ecu, find "IDL" wiring and make sure its not damaged/open circuiting?

It's the neutral switch from the Auto Transmission.

i had this problem just recently on my supra i was getting a code 51, i found that on the air conditioning pipe (high side) (the smaller diameter pipe) the one from the condensor at the front to the TX valve under the dash board theres a High pressure cutout switch the wires had broken off and were touching each other this was giving me the code, fixing this the code went away for about a day until i found that the TPS had died on me giving me another code 51, the TPS wiring was dodgy so i replaced the wiring and the TPS itself and problem sorted

ok i just tested the line,

first of all can anyone confirm that the "IDL" line from the tps (blue with no stripes) is the same at the ecu plug?

if so i got continuity.

so i guess that means the wiring is sweet.

doing tps tomorrow

if your remove all teh a/c wiring (sip the lines at ecu and ac pump ends)
can you still get a/c fault codes?
