strength of gtt caldina gearboxes

hey a question im at the stage where my caldina needs a clutch i know this is going to be a bastard of a job and so i want to choose the clutch right so

A) i dont have to replace the clutch again in a hurry
B) i dont have to replace the gearbox

now i know this is not going to be easy to find a medium what are the 4wd boxes like strength wise i am thinking of gettin a heavy cover with a 5 puk but then i didnt want to put too much stress on the box which has done 100000kms or i could put a heavy cover with a ceramic plate

so pretty much has anyone fitted a puk clutch to their gtt/gt4 etc and had any issues with gearbox's cheers for the advice

i own a 96 gt4 and i put a puk style clutch in an exeedy one with a 2.6tonne pressure plate and its fine just run the clutch in properly and you will be sweet
