Remove the box and put the original winder back on?

done anything electrical at all to the car since it last worked?
Played with anything that may have unplugged a connection (e.g. taking door cover off)?
checked all your fuses?

Lol, I had the same problem, but I have a 4door, so my fix may not be the same as yours.. I removed the panel, unplugged the plug from SWITCH to MOTOR, hooked up a multimeter and flicked the switch. 11.85V.. so swapped the rear door motor over with the front, problem solved! :) However, you'll need an operating window for a wof, so its' only a temporary fix.

you sure windows need to open for wof? never seen them test them ever, and cant see a reference to it on the vir manual

but yeah, a non working front window is a bastard. whip it out and test with a multimeter, or just go to the wreckers and grab a winder if you can indeed just put a manual winder on.
