Well the single seaters were hoofin it (the red one in particular). We all commented on how long the run off was...

The red one tested it, totally screaming through the finish and ended up locking up just before the barriers, a small spin and missed them... Damn lucky!

I spoke to the guy in the red single seater , he said he missed the finish marker and thought he was on the straight before the finish , hence the acceleration after the finish ,and the close 8O look at the safety barriers .

The mighty Panda ended up doing a 52.12 , though it wasn't pulling in 3rd for some reason to be investigated this week .
Good day for most , hope the lotus guy is ok ,

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Every year it seems to be the same with the close calls at the run off.
Wasn't it the year before last where someone had a mishap stopping and knocked one of the cars parked on the left down over the bank?

Maybe four years or so back yep. That was quite an interesting scene to encounter.

Scott had brake issues.

Results aren't out yet, so not sure how the results worked out.

That's bizarre.

I had a run like that, where everywhere I marshaled, there was a big crash there. I was starting to get a bit paranoid.

dam those boys in the single seater's were flying up that hill with the times they posted.

Excitement factor of the day for me was watching the skyline light it up from the bottom of the hill all the way to my marshaling point 8O 8) and it wasnt only on one occasion he did that either

good to see it will be back.

yeah some one said the lotus hit the bank.
but i couldnt see any evidence of that on the bank. looks like he just got it well wrong put of the previous turn and nailed the brakess to go straight off.

Looks like an action packed event!

Sad to see cars have some off road excursions but damage doesnt look terminal.

Dirty coarse chip never gives very good grip eh? :?
