servicing in Dunedin

Postby gttNICK » Mon Mar 19, 2007 12:47 pm

As per the title....
Where are the good places to go for basic lube service? I want a full synthetic oil etc and don't want to pay a fortune.
Have always done it myself with previous cars but now that I own something decent I thought it wise to keep some sort of service history.

HRT works at a workshop handy to town. You will pay an arm and a leg no matter where you go for synthetic oil.

$65 for 5 ltrs isn't that much... the problem is with those annoying cars that take slightly more than 5 ltrs.

Not that I get mine done by him(I get free service for the time of ownership of the vehicle with my purchase), but HRT FTW...

yeah... but you can buy a hillman hunter for $400 if you want a "car"... but if you want a car that'll be good, you have to spend a good double that :)

He isn't so keen on putting LSDs in FWD cars though... could be the 8hr job thing though... or, that and apparently it is a PITA having to remove damn near everything in the engine bay.
