but we have a nice straight just out of town where people go and have a race, its around 1km long.. thats where it would have an advantage

well that aside, theyr quick when they get up and moving compared to a 2ltr torneo/accord euro

buy a manual soarer, stack it into a power pole.

then sell it for parts.


Ill pay 100$ for the engine and gearbox.

soarer TT's,while a nice car, aren't outragously quick standard.
I dare say a 2L gtst with a few smart mods would probly embarrass one. most turbocharged hondas would make one look silly too . in fact, most 1.6L n/a's would probly beat one to 50km.

they are nice cars, with loads of gadgets. if you're going to buy a manual soarer, then use it for the designed purpose, which is a comfortable long distance cruiser with a wee bit of go.
