Car Panel and Paint Recommendations

Hi all

Well on friday my precious soarer was dented by some drop kick in their cheap car. They Left a nice dent right in the corner of the mint drivers door, presumably by reversing into it.




Now the door will need to be replaced its bent the intrusion bar and mishapen the door slightly so a replacement door is needed, Ive sourced one of those for $100 in good condition but will need respraying....

As some of you may know common Green soarers have the metallic pearl paint, this therefore means its not so simple to paint something and stick it on the car as the surround area will have to be blended in... Now my questions here is

What Paint and Panel shops in the Central Auckland area do you guys recommend? Ive been to Evans which estimated $500-600 to do a nice job which is okay but would be keen to get some more quotes from others that have similar work quality...

Any help would be appreciated

try auckland panel and paint on nelson st, or if you can come to the shore, east coast bay european car painters in browns bay or albany will do a good job usually would be cost around 150 - 200 per panel so for that job could be 3 panels, if you need to do the whole door and blend so yeah cheeper isint always best cos they tend to use cheeper paint and will skimp on the blends and it may not match as well.
