Yip it would make a difference..... In making your car sound like shit. And you wont see any performance gains

Go for 2.25", with two long oval rseonators, with the 2-1 section replaced. Plenty of exhaust info on here if you search

I read somewhere that the standard exhaust is 2.25".

Was it Warwick who said that?

Yeah remember that backpressure on an NA is a good thing so bigger doesnt necessarily mean better

I did the same with my sister's AE101 FXGT. She had a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, two resonators and a Dytech muffler. Even with the silencer in, it was stupidly loud.

I ended up putting the stock Exhaust off my BZ-G Trueno and it is way better. It ran a lot better as well.

My BZ-G has a 2.25" exhaust now and goes well with that.

2.25" is stock ae101

ALL BACKPRESSURE IS BAD.

dont confuse backpressure with pulse

yea stock is 2.25 on both BT and ST
2.5" can be done but it needs to be done right to shut it up and keep good flow, a oval resignator + louvered resignator + muffler
a state through muffler wont be tinny with that setup.... but stupidly loud

So you would be better to keep the factory setup, and just replace the muffler, if you were that way inclined, rather than re-do the whole thing?
