BZR springs to BZ carib

Postby BzzzzR » Sat Mar 24, 2007 8:39 pm

Hi all

I have just put some new 16" on the carib but due to the soft suspension on the back Im getting a bit of scrub on the out side of the guard my question is will my old standard springs from my BZR fit in to the carib as they are a bit firmer and should fix the guard vs tyre problem ....OR do I need to get new shocks

Cheers
J

Yip guards have been rolled this helped a bit ..But the main problem is the soft springs and shocks so when i go around a corner under load it rubs or if I hit a bigish bump ....

Its way the rear guard is on a carib, the rear springs need to be near stock high but stiffend.

I have a set of teins that are ment for a carib, I fitted into my Trueno, the rear set Lifted the car over the stock springs while the front droped right down. Iv sold them to a carib owner that has the same issue as you.

The BZR springs will fit but due to the mounting/guard hight and the extra weight in the rear they probibly wont help you. best bet is to go aftermarket ones that are made for the carib/wagon
