Tested vvt pulley

Postby Luke28 » Sun Mar 25, 2007 3:02 pm

So i tested it with the 12v across the solenoid the same way described in revheads post, and the noise pretty much went away. So this means my vvt pulley is rooted?? Should i get it replaced ASAP or is it sweet to keep driving the way it is?? how much will i be looking at to get fixed?

Cheers!!

its ok to drive it like that.
when you did it did your idle go lumpy? (the pulley is working)
or it stayed the same an the noise went? (vvt isnt working)

Wouldnt worry about it unless the pulley stops working then just swap another on
