Do you rent or own where you live?

Mwuah ha ha I live "with" my mummy technically!

I am in a "granny flat" on their property out in good ol Rangiora, so Im a few hundy metres from the olds place and have my own facilities but go in for dinner and stuff to be social (and I cant ba arsed cooking) so I pay bugger all for good food and peace and quiet (apart from the peacocks and shots going off) and still have my own place, just sucks its a bit far from town

5 years now ive had my house,
brought it when i was 19 and the prices weren't ova the top and now it's worth ova double what i paid for it

Fivebob's got the right idea . Thats exactly what i wanna do. Dont mind living in a smallish sized upstairs if it means i have heaps of space for my cars .

Currently live with my mum tho . Cheap as chips rent, cooked food, space for africa for my cars

I'm another one who does both - I own, but have rented the house out, and I live in a house that my partner and I rent off her parents. Works well, my mortgage is paid by my tenants, and I'm paying less than my mortgage to live here.

Were doing the exact same thing Renting off the in laws & brought an investment property.

Put me down for that aswell.

I own a house and rent another.

Same thing here, its cheaper for me. They pay my mortage, and I pay $70 a week for rent in a flat.

My girlfriend and I just moved into a flat with four of my old friends from high school. Which makes her the only girl in a house with 5 guys but she gets along well.

unrelated: We are watching Sin City right now. I love this movie.
