Surpra Overpriced?

Is $12 000 a ripoff for a Mark III Surpa with a 5.0 litre holden V8. Certifyed. Other wise stock looking.

depends on the quality of the install and parts etc but id say yes very much so.
a mk3 shell is probly only up to 1k , so 11k is a lot to play with if you were prepared to get ur hands durty.

a mate of mine sold a hilux with a lexus v8, quality installed like a factory fitment, everything done very very well and nice paint etc, the whole deal. went for ~12k i think.

depends on whats been done, what receipts are available etc

as mentioned you can build the same car for cheaper if you can work on it yourself, but if you cant be prepared to pay the cost.

got more info? if the engine has been fully rebuilt and there is proof of that (receipts etc) then it could well be worth that sort of money.

what about the brakes, suspension etc etc
