It always seems to be the idiots who find the mint car the old man/lady has had garaged for the last 30 years and then proceed to thrash it to death in about 3 months.

In my younger years, I was one of those "idiots" :) Two Hillman Avengers, and a VW Beetle.

what is wrong with putting a 12a or a 13b into one? do you disagree with putting a 4age into it? they both are being repowered by a more powerful engine. i know you have an rx7 so i find it weird that you said that. i think you're more against the people that come with the pulsing ke's

Have no problem with them putting Toyota engines in them, 4AGE, hell even a 1UZ in a KE would be wicked.

But cross breeding is a no to me lol Bridgeport makes it even worse, if its a road car.

That's just my hater comment towards road going rotars, but love them for race cars.

I owned mine in 94-99, the original beetle was still in production in Mexico till 97 I think, the avengers were long gone though.

I'm not *that* old.

I hate people that ruin old cars, not just with boy racer stuff as well,

I hate it when people get an 85/86 that is a perfectly good road car, and strip it to turn into a race car/dift car, i mean i know race cars/drift cars are cool, but possibly they could find one thats not *as* great cosmetically since its going to get wasted one day anyway.

just my rant.

oh and i know im guilty, but im getting really sick of EVERY car having a big bore on it, the real sports cars (and manuals) are allright, but when its on a car that some 16 year old got given by his mum then its a bit excessive ( wish i could have seen how stupid it was when i was 16)

Avengers were still being made up until 1990 in Argentina, albeit badged as Dodge or VW's :D I actually think they're cool, I'd take one over an Escort any day!

wow... that is so much cooler than my ones, albeit a lot more expensive, I paid $600 for my first one, $100 for my second... hmm, they've up'd the HP a tad though, my ones were ~38HP from factory, the new one is 172. betcha it wouldn't be as much fun as they were though.
